Mother’s Day Special – Madison, Georgia & the Blue Willow Inn

May 12

This would be a great way to let your mom, wife or that special someone in your life know just how much you appreciate them. We invite you to join us for a wonderful getaway to one of the prettiest and most interesting places in the country.

Our first stop will be in Madison, Georgia – after burning Atlanta, General Sherman set out on a march to Savannah with plans to burn every town he went through. When he arrived in Madison, he stated that the town was “too pretty to burn” – this is the only town on his entire march that was left intact. We’ll see why as we see the beautiful old antebellum homes and businesses. We’ll have a chance to visit some of the specialty shops on Main Street while we are here. Next, we’ll take the short drive to Social Circle, Georgia where we’ll enjoy lunch (included) at the famous Blue Willow Inn – rated as the “top restaurant in the south” for many years. Be sure to try their fried green tomatoes and sample several of their delicious desserts!

No great tour would be complete without a chance for some shopping, so we’ll head to Commerce, Georgia for a chance to visit the outlet stores before we travel home.
